The Annie Show

Finally after a million rehearsals for the past 6 months, we preformed in the classic musical/drama Annie show at Pattichio Municipal theater. One show on Monday night and another on Tuesday night. Annie was the second musical I had ever done, my first show was last year, The Addams Family.

I was a part of the choir. I got to sing, dance, and act a little too. I got to be a part of quite a few scenes, my favourite one had to have been the "Hard Knock Life" scene. It was one of my bigger dancing routines so I had a lot of fun performing it. It also happened to be my first scene of the night which made it that much more exciting!

I was standing backstage, making silly jokes with my friends in hope of getting rid of my nerves. Then the music started, I marched my way on stage, and then we started to perform. I was so excited and literally couldn't hide it! All I wanted to do was smile, which was very inconvenient since I had to pretend I was an angry orphan. But somehow I kept it together!

We also had some articles about the show in our local newspaper. They also captured so many beautiful pictures which if you're curious to see, you can check it out here.

After our last show on Tuesday night everyone went to dinner to celebrate and enjoy our last night with everyone in the "Annie" family! During this dinner our amazing director, soundtrack editor, assistants, and dance choreographers gave out awards to everyone in the show, it was one of my personal favourite moments of the night. But besides that we ate great food, shared a ton of good laughs, shed a few tears (in my case more than just a few) and made some incredible memories.

My Goodbye Letter To 'Annie'

All stories have an ending and today, I have decided to write to a goodbye letter to what me and I hope some of my fellow Annie members consider a second family. I'd like to thank everybody who came along this crazy journey. When I was stuck with a day that was grey and lonely you guys helped me stick up my chin and grin. I love all of our incredible jokes and I hope to never forget them. I hate to say goodbye, but even though all stories must end, every ending leads to a new beginning and I can't wait to see when and where our new chapters in life take us.

Hope you liked my new post today!
